Geert Wilders acquitted of all charges
donderdag, 23 juni 2011

This morning the Court of Amsterdam has acquitted Geert Wilders of all charges.

“I am delighted with this ruling,” says Geert Wilders. “It is a victory, not only for me but for all the Dutch people. Today is a victory for freedom of speech. The Dutch are still allowed to speak critically about islam, and resistance against islamisation is not a crime. I have spoken, I speak and I shall continue to speak.”
You can read his closing remarks on the last day of his trial HERE, video of the speech below:

Today's acquittal is a victory for the cause of freedom everywhere.

  1. The real victory for the cause of freedom will come when the bozos who bring these charges, and the lawyers who prosecute guys like Wilders, are laughed off the face of the earth. It's like playing whack-a-mole with these idiots, they prosecute Mark Steyn in Canada, Ayan Hirsi Ali in Italy, and now Geert Wilders. Each was acquitted, but at what cost to themselves and society? Who will be next? Because you know the islamists have already set their sights on their next victim.

  2. This is great news; answered prayer and somewhat surprising that this court actually stood up to what will no doubt be more and more dangerous times to come. Praise GOD !!

This is war, and we cannot give in nor can we give up. Let freedom ring loud and clear !

    Thanks MJ !

  3. It is nothing more than "legal terrorism" practiced through the courts, a tactic that the left uses frequently.  I blame the judges mostly since they could dismiss these bullshit suits on day one but they don't since they are in the "club".

  4. Indeed, this great news.  Not just for the Dutch people but for all freedom loving people in the world.

The sand-nazis just got put on notice.

  5. "....judges......are in the 'club'". And there you have a huge cause of the high cost of healthcare as well and the need for tort reform. Sorry, didn`t mean to stretch the topic, but it`s true. Lawyers are causing us huge issues that could be eliminated if they weren`t such immoral creatures; aka: opportunistic bastards !

  6. "The sand-nazis just got put on notice." Oh, would that were the case, but I suspect this ruling will be as gas on a raging widfire, since they need only the merest excuse to blow up into full-blown rage (Zilla`s "islamorageboys") !

I am proud of the Dutch court, I`ll pray for their safety and continued devotion to freedom of speech. It`s also a great thing that the original panel of judges was replaced; they may have succumbed to the fear of islamic backlash !

  7. I don't doubt for a second that those cretins won't use it to start violence but either way they are indeed on "notice".  That ruling is a big deal and will reverberate around the world especially in the west.

Ultimately, people finally get enough and they take a stand.  I believe that is the case with these judges.  Yes they are in grave danger now.  Wilders had better make his home on the International Space Station.

  8. Absolutely!  In most states Judges are elected by their peers (other lawyers).  They are obliged to reciprocate... and never mind the law that they swore to uphold.  It's a racket.  Tort reform would fix a miriad of problems that cost everyone dearly but the demmerhoids will have none of it as they are recipients of huge campaign funds from the Trial Lawyers Association.

  9. Let`s hope these Dutch judges and those in the cases mentioned by Chris Wysocki have planted seeds of courage that will grow like kudzu. Can we get a real stand in the Mohammid cartoon cases and show these idiots they need to get a sense of humor ?! I know, fat chance !

    Living on the ISS.......ooooh ! :-(

  10. Right now, NC is considering making judges` races "non-political". As if NOT having their party affiliation appearing next to their names will make any difference in the way they adjudicate !? How well are the gen. public familiar with a particular judge ? We know party affiliation makes a difference, so how do we know who to vote for w/o the R or D next to their name on the ballot ? Same for Sheriff`s races !?

As for tort reform; my BinL was a gen. surgeon. He quit surgery and is now JUST an ER Dr. because of the cost of malpractice ins. - his single largest expense ! Even in `83 when my Daughter was born it was getting hard to find and Dr. of OB/GYN . Disgusting !

What has happened when you find a bunch of lawyers buried up to their necks in sand ? Someone ran out of sand !
