Phew!

It was close, but thanks to the kindness of friends and strangers, I am here. Thank you to everyone who helped and also to all who offered prayers and kind words to me.
With my internet connection back, I can actively pursue some leads to help me earn money and hopefully prevent this kind of stuff from happening again. We'll be eating lots of ramen noodles for a while, but as long as I am connected I can work to improve things.

This post is short because I've got a lot to do today, but I'll be writing and posting new stuff soon. I just wanted you to know that I'm here and to say thank you.

In the mean time, please go check out the following awesome blogs:

Adrienne's Corner
WyBlog
Knuckledraggin my life away
The Hobo Projekt
The Other McCain
Invincible Armor

And if you are in the New York area and need a good lawyer, I recommend that you check out the law firm advertised in my sidebar here.

  2. Thanks! If I'd lost internet I'd also be losing a chance to make things better for my family. I've gotten lots of leads and helpful suggestions, so with my connection on I can actively chase them down. I feel like I can breathe again, it's been a very stressful week.

  3. Smilin` :-D and thanking GOD that people and things came together to keep you operating ! Life can be tuff but life is good ! Ramen noodles are really cheap and taste really good sometimes; just hopin` things get better before the taste goes south ! ;-)

    Heads held high !

  4. Glad to see you'll be here for a while. But the knock on Ramen noodles was unforgivable! They're one of the two basic food groups!

  5. Mix em with peanut butter and you've got fancy Thai noodles! Ha ha ha
I wasn't knocking them, just saying that we won't be having steaks any time soon. LOL

  6. Thanks, SPG! I do fine with the noodles but the stuff you sprinkle on them to make em taste like stuff gives me agita.

  7.  Had to look up "agita". Yeah, my Sis stirs in French onion soup mix to ground beef for burgers on the grill. Gaaawleee it`s good, for hours and hours and hours ! Buuuuuurp ! I have to stay standing up for hours afterward or else !

Never thought of adding peanut butter; amazing stuff. My maw-in-law put it on everything....even corn on the cob; it`s actually good !

Oh, yesterday I saw that the food police are on the anti-oatmeal wagon ! Idiots ! It HAS TO BE because McD`s is serving it ! Oatmeal - the other white meat ! :-)

  8. WTF is wrong with Oatmeal? Gosh I am sick of those meddling bastards! My dad
introduced me to peanut butter and bacon sammiches, heavenly stuff! I also like
peanut butter on cold roast chicken. Whenever I cook a bird I pick at it as I'm
wrapping up the leftovers and one day my tummy said, "Hey, put some peanut
butter on it" (and no I wasn't pregnant at the time) and it was GOOD!

Off-topic, I noticed that Herman Cain was caught off-guard yesterday when asked
about foreign policy stuff, I've articulated what MY foreign policy would be
over at the A-C page, but I think the language is too graphic for the blog.
Here's the note at A-C if you'd like to see (warning, gratuitous use of the
f-bomb, because sometimes that really is the only word that'll do):

  9. That is all ? Sounds like you were just getting going !

IMO, simple is best; even or especially in foreign policy.  Don`t mince words; no ambiguity !
