Weekend Open Thread - Birthday, Rock, and Rebellion Edition

Sunday is my birthday! Let's rock!

For as long as I can remember, I have noticed that when a nation goes full blown shariatarded, in addition to destroying any semblance of freedom and oppressing females beyond what most folks can even imagine, they ban music. Even in the West, in places like England, France, and now parts of the USA (and many other western countries) there are islamic enclaves, or "no go zones", where they ban music (and booze, and gays, and women outdoors without being buried under cloth, and pretty much all things representing freedom and beauty).

I say, screw that crap! Let's rock, anti-jihad fatwa-worthy style!

The Clash made this one in response to Ayatollah Khomeini's ban on music after Iran fell to islamonazism - Rock the Casbah - a feel good classic:

Content warning for the next one. After the jihad came here and started killing us, Stuck Mojo has a message which is basically this: islamonazis picked the wrong damned people to mess with - Open Season - hell yeah!

Joe Dan takes on the leftist enablers of the islamonazis (who they've teamed up with to try to destroy us) - get on the train and pass the bacon - here is I am the Infidel (that your Imam warned you about):

It's my birthday weekend, I figure it's as good a time as any to have some fun at the expense of the people who have declared themselves our enemy.

Remember, a great way to say "Happy Birthday" to one of your favorite starving anti-jihad bloggers is to Hit the Tip Jar (or buy me a present, or buy some ad space, or shop at my store or at one of the neat businesses that I am now advertising here in the margins which will let you get cool stuff, save money, and give me a commission).

  10. Hey,  Zilla! I like your attitude!

Happy Birthday! You're Queen for a day and princess for a week -- you just have to persuade your friends and family that this is the deal and train them to act accordingly ... you know? Breakfast in bed, no work in the kitchen for a week, flowers, movies, etc.

When I clicked on The Clash video, this is the message I got: "This video contains content from SME [Sony Music Entertainment?], who blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

Copyright grounds? I doubt it. Jihad and sharia law have long tentacles which are all the more effective when they wrap around dhimmied wimps.

  13. Thanks, batb! What country are you in? I'm in NY, USA and it works fine here - I've been subjecting my kids to it all day!

  15. I'm living in socialist, politically correct, can't-offend-the-Muslims CANADA! (which MIGHT be turning around under our Conservative (=Republican) government, though we're not too sure now that they have a majority. Some of us think they're moving rather slowly to turn our leftist zeitgeist around -- but Rome wasn't built in a day!)

My great-grandmother was from the State of New York, so I guess I come by my Tea Party sensibilities somewhat honestly!

    Have a GR-8 birthday celebration!

  16. Happy Birthday, Zilla.  Eat a bunch of cake, wash it down with gallons of ice cream, and rock all night!

  17. It would be quite surprising if Zilla did "mind". I myself followed her over, lost puppy style, from DougPowers.com "The Powers That Be" some time last year and have been a regular pest ever since ! Fun and education to be had by one and all ! `cept trolls of course !

  18. I heard that the "Conservative" leadership is turning out to be not to different than our liberals here. You should check out Blazing Cat Fur, it's a great conservative anti-jihad blog from Canada, probably the best one, actually.

  20. Thank you, Persephone, and I am delighted and honored to have folks visit from Moonbattery, it's one of my favorite places! I'm glad you like the music, I was actually in a pretty sour mood before I started this post, birthdays are usually pretty disappointing for me, but the tunes picked me up and the friend who are visiting in the comments thread here have made me feel great!

  21. Yep, I love it when friends from my favorite blogs come over! Kidnapping SPG from Powers was one of the best things I ever did!

  22. Thanks, Adrienne! Nobody in RL parties for my b-day, but my neighbor is throwing a huge party today for his birthday! There's several dozen cars parked in my front yard, he's got a live band, cotton candy & snow cone machine, tons of food, a giant water slide, bouncy jousting ring and a big fancy pool & jacuzzi! We usually go to his parties every year but husband is away on business today  so I went by myself with the kids, it's nerve racking to do it without husband to help me though so I only stayed for a little while before my son started having meltdowns, so now I can listen to the music from my house and sneak over for takeout from the party next door every once in a while. If husband knows what's good for him, he'll give me ice cream cake tomorrow. I have a headache now from my son's screaming, I'm hoping he'll take a nap so I can run out & get my neighbor to send me some goodies over the fence. My daughter had a great time while we were there, she wants to go back, if it isn't too late when husband gets home we will.
So here I am at home, maybe I'll blog, or even better, maybe the Sci-fi channel will show some movies with monsters eating people's faces off.
