It was one year ago today that I opened this blog, which was originally named PolitiZilla but then I discovered that there was already a website with that name so I changed it to Zilla of the Resistance soon after. This is actually my second political blog, the first one was at Opera, but I became unable to log in after my old computer died so I started this one.
When I began blogging, it was really just as an extension of my ANTI-C.R.A.P.T.A.S.T.I.C. page on facebook because I wanted to have more room to elaborate on the stuff I was posting there. After the A-C page was publicly attacked by my own sitting Congressman, the blog became the best tool I had to fight back against John Hall's vicious smears. My vindication and his de-election is still the blog achievement that I am most proud of.

I think the first Zilla blog post that actually became kind of popular was my pushback against Obama's proclamation that nice normal American people who disagreed with him and who are not fans of coddling CRIMINAL ALIEN INVADERS were "enemies" who should be "punished". It was very exciting when I learned that my post had been linked at two of my favorite blogs, Pundit & Pundette and Doug Ross!

The most frustrating thing I have encountered as a Conservative Anti-Jihad blogger is the great apathy surrounding the genocide holocaust facing Christians at the hands of islam. Nobody seems to really care about the Anti-Christian Jihad, that I have written about in places like here, here, here, here, here, here and here - they are among my least read, least linked to and least commented on posts. However, I feel that this subject is of utmost importance, so I will continue to persist in addressing it, because somebody has to!
