Yesterday, I posted here about my concerns that iconic symbols of Ancient Egyptian culture and history could be in peril. Today's post is a followup to that.

Ancient Egypt Could be Deleted
If Egypt falls to hardcore islamic supremacists, photos might be all the world may have left to remember the Egyptian pyramids and the Sphinx.

Beware the Veggie Sammich! Open Thread
Dennis Kucinich lost a tooth today while eating a vegetable sandwich and although he gets 100% free dental care courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer, he's decided to sue for $150,000 over it.

A Sisterhood of Suffering
In my last blog post, I wrote about the fact that the majority of abortions in America are coerced or forced and that the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual trauma after an abortion can and often does haunt girls and women for the rest of their lives. The horrors of the atrocities committed by Kermit Gosnell at his Philadelphia 'clinic' are now being exposed in full hideous detail, including brutal stories of forced abortion that are far worse than what most of us could have ever imagined.

The Other Victims
All over the right blogosphere (but shamefully, not in the mainstream 'news'), you will find revelations about the atrocities committed by "Doctor" Kermit Gosnell, an abortion provider in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who has been arrested following the brutal killings of many live breathing born babies and butchered women who died in agony. Outrage is rightly expressed over the sheer horror of what has transpired at that facility, as they are truly despicable crimes against humanity. You need to know about these things, but they will haunt you forever, as they should, we cannot allow this to be swept under the rug for political correctness sake. Please read about the atrocities and pass them along so others will become aware of what I am sure is not a series of isolated incident at just one place but rather just one place among many - one place which happened to get caught.

Pregnant Woman Severely Beaten by Husband for Ultrasound Showing Girl Baby
Normal people who are expecting a child are delighted to see the baby in an ultrasound, especially when the baby appears healthy, but sadly, this was not the case for a Pakistani woman who was pregnant with her third child. After the ultrasound revealed that she was carrying her third daughter, "Aliya's" husband and father-in-law chained her to a door in their home, and tried to perform an abortion by injecting her with poison, and when that failed, they brutally beat her. Neighbors who heard her screams went into the house to rescue her and were also attacked. By the time the neighbors were able to get Aliya out of there, she was in labor and gave birth in a car en route to the hospital.

It's a snow day here, my school aged child is not in school and she and little brother have been tearing the place up. It's also a sad anniversary today, marking ten years since I last saw my dad smile or heard his big strong voice. Zilla's got a headache. But I did a lot of reading today, like I do every day, and would like to direct your attention to some outstanding stuff from my fellow bloggers...

Recycled Obama Slogan Used at Pop-fest Campaign Rally "Memorial"
Did you get a feeling of déjà vu when you saw the slogan emblazoned across those DNC blue T-shirts that were handed out at the disgraceful and tasteless pop-fest/campaign rally/"memorial" in Tuscon on Wednesday night? Well, if you were familiar with Obama's creepy activist arm Organizing for America you would be! As it turns out, "Together we thrive" is a slogan from Obama's 2008 campaign that was used on OfA's website, prior to "Yes we can".

"Heckuva job, 'pniki!"
Oh how the left and the vicious hateful media had a field day over George W. Bush's comment to Mr. Brown in the aftermath of Katrina, when the failures that caused so much suffering clearly came from LOCAL officials and not so much Bush or even really Brown, but I digress, it's OUR turn now:
