Mr. Obama,
In case you haven't yet been briefed on it during your nearly 2 years in office, your job is to represent ALL of the AMERICAN people, not just the ones who adulate you and certainly not the non-Americans who wish to do us harm and/or take advantage of our largess.
Another fact that seems to have escaped your notice is that we are involved in two wars and our real enemies are the islamic fanatics who wish to kill us, have killed us, and will continue to try to kill us at every given opportunity - THEY are the enemy, not the citizens of this country (who you are supposed to be working for) who would prefer that entrants to this country do so legally and abide by the same laws everyone else has to follow in the United States of America.
Your shameful comments are absolutely disgraceful and you degrade the integrity of the office you occupy by urging your adherents to treat their friends, neighbors, colleagues and family members who happen to think we should enforce our laws as if they are "enemies" in need of being "punished".
You call yourself a "citizen of the world", well why don't you take a look around and see how the rest of the world handles THEIR criminal illegal alien intruders for once and see how much kinder we are to ours than most other countries are to theirs. Are Mexicans the "enemy" in need of "punishment" when they send their undocumented visitors to prison before deporting them?
I am not the enemy, Mr. Obama, but honestly, as an American citizen who is concerned for the safety of my country, seeing the way you capitulate to our real enemies so much so that you dare not even speak their name (that's i-s-l-a-m-i-c t-e-r-r-o-r-i-s-t-s. sir, try sounding out the letters slowly and maybe you'll get it), and your caustic references to the very people you are sworn to serve (many of whom helped put you into office in the first place), is troubling to say the very least. Just whose side are you really on, sir?
You are the first President in the history of this country to not only publicly attack and vilify citizens of this country who support your paycheck (and all of your excessive indulgences as well) but also to urge that ill be done to them in the form of "punishment". You wonder why your popularity is sinking like a lead balloon? It's not because we can't "think clearly", Mr. Obama, it is because we CAN.
I am the child of an immigrant to this country, my mother waited 6 years for a Visa to come here legally and then worked very hard to earn the right to stay and become a citizen. She would like to see other entrants to this country have to follow the same rules she did and EARN their right to be here, as she did. Are you trying to say that my dear sweet mother, an immigrant herself, is the "enemy" who needs to be "punished"? What do you have against immigrants, sir? Is it that you only favor the ones who lawlessly enter this country? That sir, is a perversion of your oath of office.
Words matter, Mr. Obama, and in case you don't remember who said that, it was you. Your words are toxic, insulting and divisive. A Governance rooted in hatred is doomed to failure, Mr. Obama.
I think it is high time you stop apologizing to the rest of the world for Americans and take a look at all you have wrought since you became President and then apologize to Americans. We are not the enemies, and we've already been punished enough by your acrimonious and antagonistic administration.
