I am thankful for...The above was in my little girl's 'take home' folder with all the rest of her recent schoolwork. She is such a good kid. We don't have much, so she doesn't get a lot of the things her friends do, we don't get to go to a lot of the places other families go to, and little luxuries (like Happy Meals) are very rare treats because we just don't have the wiggle room to sport out a few bucks more than a precious a few times a year; but my little girl, at six years, old is far wiser and more gracious than many adults in that rather than bemoan what she doesn't have, she understands that true treasures do not necessarily have monetary value and she is grateful for all that she has.
My brother, my mom & dad, freedom, my pets, God, my friends, my teachers, my toys and my room.
- The Little Girl Resister, my delightful daughter, age 6 (and she goes to public school)
I am so thankful to God for blessing me with her, and her sweet little brother (and their dad, the love of my life, my husband). I may be cash poor, but my babies make me feel like the richest woman in the world.
Happy Thanksgiving, may God richly bless you all.

Smart kid!
Sometimes, it takes children to see what WE should see.
Also, that hand-turkey clearly depicts man's struggles against humanity... in the form of a hand-turkey. :)
Awwwwwwwwwwwww - a little chip off the old Zilla. She has a wonderful mommy - she doesn't need or miss Happy Meals. There were no such things when I grew up and look how great I turned out. heh...
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Enjoy them for they grow really really fast!!
My own 'baby' turned 30 this year!!!
That's beautiful! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Zilla!
You have a LOT to be thankful for.
