Take Your Feminism and Shove It!

It is National Offend a Feminist Week and I am here to do my part. Of course, as a devoted housewife and stay at home mom who is also a Conservative blogger, my very existence is offensive to feminism.

I've been meaning to do this post since Monday, but my mombligations kept me from blogging. One of the things I did yesterday, instead of blogging, was a project with my kids which resulted in us now having an awesome terrarium, you can read about that adventure in domestic bliss HERE. We now have strawberry plants growing indoors (which, if you've been following this blog you know how significant that is for me) along some other really cool plants. Today my little girl came down with a bad fever, so here I am in the waning hours of National Offend a Feminist Week with my entry for this year's annual event which was started by The Other McCain.

Speaking of Stacy McCain, the man is fighting pneumonia this week, but a good man doesn't let anything keep him down, so he's still been doing a damned fine job of offending feminists. He's got a bunch of great posts this week dedicated to offending feminists and pictures of pretty girls too. I highly recommend that you visit The Other McCain and take a look at all the awesomeness, and also look for the awesomeness from Smitty (who killed Osama bin Laden, by the way) too. Be sure not to miss Feminism: Synonymous for Insanity? where Stacy highlights a feminist lunatic who is all butt-hurt because Osama bin Laden is dead but criminal alien invaders still get deported on the rare occasion that the government catches them and all the wealth in this country has not been fully redistributed to folks belonging to favored lefty demographics.

I dismantled feminism a few months ago here at this blog with my post Femininican! where I went into great detail explaining why feminism is the worst thing to happen to human females since islam, and I of course invented a spiffy new word, femininican, to describe women who actually do care about real issues facing women and girls around the world and are not afraid to stand up for what is right, regardless of who it may offend. Read the whole thing HERE. I am a femininican - here is a little bit about what that means, excerpted from that post:

I honestly cringe every single time an otherwise sensible woman who is genuinely concerned for the welfare of women and girls describes herself as a "feminist" because feminism is truly anathema to any true regard for the female condition.  For this reason, I suggest a new word to describe women who actually DO care about women's issues and are not afraid to embrace the virtues and power that come with womanhood: femininican - a combination of feminine and "I can", because feminism is all about "I can'ts" with their restrictive adherence to cultural marxism, perpetual insistence on victim status, and placing limitations on what girls and women may aspire to.

As a femininican I proudly proclaim that:

  •  I CAN embrace the biological gifts that I am endowed with, I CAN be beautiful and alluring, I CAN respect my body and embrace the possibility of motherhood within a loving and committed relationship to a respectful and honorable man.
  • I CAN stand up and speak out against the oppression of my sisters around the world without fear of being 'politically incorrect' because I CAN recognize that abuse is always wrong regardless of who is perpetrating that abuse and that nobody who engages in abusive behavior should ever be spared from criticism or exempt from being brought to justice.
  • I CAN raise my son to grow up to be honorable MAN and a responsible husband and father. My son will learn by watching his own father and by seeing how his own father is loved and respected by me.
  • I CAN raise my daughter to value herself for the treasure that she is and to choose a mate wisely when she is older because she will have learned from her parents what it means to be in a traditional committed relationship where both man and woman respect each other and the unique gifts each has to offer the other. I CAN lead by example so that my daughter will understand through her witness the joy that comes with being a devoted wife and mother.
  • I CAN aspire to achieve great things in my life for I am powerful by design and do not need to be 'empowered' by any false ideology which actually enslaves.
  • I CAN respect and admire MEN who represent the traditional ideals of masculinity; men who are brave, strong, responsible and honorable, men who admire and respect feminine women and are unafraid of truly loving them.
I can think of many, many more things that I can do, but I hope that you get the idea. It is far past time to put the cultural oppression against women, men, and children known as feminism into the dust bin of history where it belongs.
See, I am all about offending feminists, because they have it coming to them (you can read why, of course, here). In fact, I am so offensive to feminists that The Pagan Temple made an awesome blog post about ME for National Offend a Feminist Week! Read Coffee With Zilla and then pass it along to some thin skinned, hyper-sensitive, uptight bitches along with my Femininican! post.

Of course if you really want to offend feminists (along with islamorageboys, islamocoddlers, CRAPTASTICs and the chronically left-tarded), a quick and easy way to do it is to hit my tip jar! Donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to help me buy better food that I will spend all day cooking for my family (like a good wife and mother should) and to buy cleaning supplies that will help me keep our little shack looking as good as I can and to make it smell nice during the rare moments when I don't have something delicious cooking filling the air.

Another fine way to help offend those who have it coming is to join the ANTI-C.R.A.P.A.S.T.I.C. page, the most badassed right minded political page in all of facebook where we offend the people who deserve it non-stop every single day!

So to sum this post up, let me close with a bit of advice: The next time some shrill screeching harpy starts howling about some trifle that they've chosen to demagogue about (like flipping out because a guy happened to mention that a gorgeous woman is pretty) while ignoring seriously messed up stuff that really is abusive to human females, you look that bitch straight in the eye and you say,

Take your feminism and SHOVE IT!

This post is included in the Full Metal Jacket Reach-Around at The Other McCain. Thank you!

I guess I missed the official "Offend a Feminist" week but never too late to join in ;-)

Your wife sounds like an incredible woman, and you know, next to every superb wife is a fantastic husband. :)

Praise the good Lord above!! Well said. My wife (God continue to Bless her) is a perfect lesson to all you feminist. She has provided me with 10 beautiful children, raised them to have morals, stand up for your beliefs, home schooled all of them (public schools are really bad in Hawaii) when she found out that our firstborn was getting taught crap in school, teaches her daughters the true beauty of being female and how important that role is, and I can go on and on. Oh yeah and I firmly believe that behind every good man stands an even stronger woman!!!

Thank you! They certainly don't reflect my interests.

Zilla of the Resistance said...

Thank you for your honest reflections on what it was REALLY like. Few people want to admit the damage that feminism has wrought on our society and our families.

Zilla of the Resistance said...

Thanks, Ute, the person above clearly didn't read or didn't understand this post and just wanted to come here and gripe in self deluded righteous indignation. Obviously this post served its intended purpose in honor of National Offend a Feminist Week. Victory is mine. :)

Thanks, SPG! I hope you & your sibs have a great day with mom. I am thankful that she raised such a fine man as yourself. (((hugs)))

Great post! Feminist leadership doesn't reflect interests of women in this country -- or elsewhere.

Sounds to me like you didn't read the entire blog post or you would get it. The problem I have with todays feminists, is that they don't want equal rights, they want special rights. The complain if men don't open doors for them and be all gentlema like. Well, if you don't act like a lady then don't expect to be treated like one.
Stay at home moms are the true powerful women, because they raise the next generation that will determine how this country will do. It is up to them to raise their children into responsible adults that will contribute to society and that is the biggest and most important responsibility there is.

No one can tell me how becoming a woman in the late 60's, during the burn your bra era, has benefited me. I raised children and worked. My kids didn't come home to a mom, anxious to hear about there day, but a mom, who had a load of wash to do, was tired, and still had homework to revue. It's a lie. A big fat lie. The weekends were spend cleaning, and catching up, and the bills kept coming in. We weren't more wealthy. The cost of baby sitters, clothes, another vehicle, ate up that savings we should have enjoyed. I had a great child hood. When I came home from school, mom was there. Her interest was in her family. She was bright, well-read and college educated, but she took her role as mother, home care specialist, seriously. We cheated every generation since. And look at them. We've given them so many things, ( and many work as baby sitters), but time and attention.

There were female teachers and nurses before the 1970s.

Where do yo read contempt for women who care about women's issues? I CARE about
women's issues, like the horrible oppression of girls and women by islam which
your feminists won't touch because it would be politically incorrect to do so. I
suggest you read the femininican article linked here before you go making bad
assumptions.

I'm glad to hear it. I've been a Cain supporter all along, but was actually a little disappointed in the way he came across last night. To me, he seemed...flat. Not bad. I was worried he had blown his chance at the nomination, but it sounds like a lot of folks were wowed. Suits me just fine...maybe we'll have a real conservative nominee this time around rather than another RINO.

You come from a very smart family!

My 5 sisters (all professionals) refused to lower themselves to feminism. They and my parents taught me to look for a wife who didn't need faux labels for confidence and success. It worked and thank God for them!

Zilla of the Resistance said...

Thanks, Elijah! I only caught about the last 20 minutes of the debate, just enough to see Herman Cain blow the doors off that debate with his awesomeness. I did like what little I did see of Santorum, but Herman Cain clearly was the best man up there.

elijahfire40 said...

Awesome post, Zilla. I always enjoy your lexical inventions. On this topic, did you happen to see last night's debate where Chris Wallace tried to go after Rick Santorum on a supposedly "controversial" comment from one his books on the topic of feminism? Santorum wasn't--and still really isn't--in my top tier of choices; But I can tell you this, he moved up several spots last night--primarily on the basis of his unwillingness to back away from a reasonable comment just to placate Left-wing whack jobs.

Zilla of the Resistance said...

Thanks, Stanley! But you don't have to worry much about offending me, I'm not
easily offended.

Sweet. I think I like femininicans... and since I do, won't waste my time trying to offend you.

Keep up the good fight!

Thanks! I'm glad you stopped by!

Oh and craptastic has long been a word (a combination of crappy and fantastic, like fantastically crappy - craptastic), but my peeps were the first ones to make the acronym C.R.A.P.T.A.S.T.I.C. which stands for: Collectivist Redistributionist Anti-American Progressive Totalitarian Antagonistic Slanderous Treasonous Insidious Cretin and that page linked in the post above is all about undermining and exposing what we call CRAPTASTICs and their destructive agenda.

ThePaganTemple said...

Great post. Thanks for the link. By the way, believe it or not, I actually have used the phrase Craptastic, though I don't recall where or when. I honestly thought I invented it, but I cede it to you regardless of who used it first. Keep up the great work.

Your five sisters - unless they are all teachers and nurses - would not have professions if it weren't for the feminists of the 1970s who opened up new career paths for women. It is feminism that raised women up and gave them opportunities, and it's beneath them to admit that? That's strange. Some weird disconnect there....

Maggie said...

I envy you as I'd give anything to have kids and be able to stay home with them as well. That's a privilege. But do you want to go back to the time in the 1800's when a woman was considered the property of her husband, couldn't own her own property, and couldn't even vote? To have such a global contempt for feminists who brought you., and all of us, these freedoms, is rather surprising. I can understand contempt for those feminists who put down other women's choices but to have contempt for all women who care about women's interests seems an odd position for a woman to take.

Long View said...

Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. While our current crop of women who call themselves feminists are less than admirable, women in American history have taken time from their lives to advance the rights and freedoms of women in our nation. The feminists of the 1960s and1970s did a great deal to give women options that are needed for a life of independent choices -- and we owe even more to the women who spent 60 years working to give us the right to vote.

Congratulation yourselves on staying home, but don't neglect to learn about and honor those American women who believed that all persons were created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights -- and who worked to bring this American value into reality for female citizens.

I'm not going to add any more because I think you all may be so caught up in your pleasures in calling yourselves anti-feminists and thinking yourselves righteous beyond all others that it would be a waste of my time to go into examples and reasons for what I have said. I hope that the fault lies in me and I am wrong about this feeling. I get discouraged when I see women failing to honor the efforts of their foremother
