It must be nice to be so convinced of your own righteousness that you feel the need to mock those who ask for help and kick them when they are down. I bet it feels really good to pour salt in someone's wound simply because you are sooooo effing superior. It would be too hard to just walk on by, huh?
If what I do at my blogs and at the A-C page is of no value to you, why expend time and energy just to try to hurt me? Wouldn't the more expedient thing to do be simply to not read my stuff?
Someone told me off tonight because I dared to ask for help so I could get batteries and a few non-perishables to ride out the coming storm because wide spread power outages are predicted for my area, and as much as I wish it were otherwise, I am barely scraping by and there is no wiggle room for unexpected stuff like this. I didn't get any help and I still can't get batteries, but at least I know that I am hated, so mission accomplished Mr. Superiorpants! (Actually, I already knew that people hate me so, really, your meanness wasn't as productive as you might think.)
Bloggers provide a service and Tip Jars are a way to show one's appreciation for that service. If you do not like the service provided, you are free to look elsewhere, but is it really necessary to kick a person when they are down?
Sure, I will be most likely be sitting in the darkness with my little children when the storm strikes and there is not much that I can do about it, but no darkness that this storm may thrust upon me can even match that of what is within some people's viscous shriveled up little gleeful hearts. At least I have that going for me!
And just because I am having a 'moment' here, don't think for even one second that your nastiness will be tolerated in my comments thread, the Troll Toll is still in force so pay or STFU.

Looks like you`re gettin` the first rain band due north of the center which is still a bit south of the VA line. This is a big storm, already hitting the SE corner of NH and the southern-most tip of ME. Hang tough girl !
The western-most cloud band past over me after noon, but no rain; very thin clouds. Wouldn`t have known it without Live Weather Radar and StormPulse maps.
Feelin` for ya ! Best wishes for all of you in Irene`s path !
Keep the faith Zilla. There's assholes all over.
But as an aside and some advise...waiting until the last moment to stock up on emergency supplies is what we call..."Backing up" in our neck of the woods. If you're still on line, visit Phoebe's Detention Room http://phoebe53.wordpress.com/category/preparedness/ for some inexpensive or free ways to make emergency supplies from common things you may already have around the house.
I have two daughters and two and a half grandkids in Irene's path. Thankfully, they've grown up enough to realize that perhaps Mom and Pop were right and a little extra stashed back for emergencies is a good idea.
Thanks, Mike! I'll check out the link, I appreciate it!
I normally AM prepared for all sorts of stuff, but we've been having a prolonged period of hard financial times so there is simply nothing extra aside from basic day to day survival and there are days when even that is dicey.
Zilla,
Hang tough. Keep hitting the trolls, they hate it when you hit home!
I'm glad things are getting a little better!
Me and all animal pals are praying for you guys. Stay safe & God Bless, Zilla.

Zilla my friend. I know the feeling to be tapped out and down. Tried to access PayPal Fri. and could not get in. Don't have much myself but did get in today. You will survive your current down and rise above it. After about 6-7 years I am just starting to.
Thank you, Bob! (((hugs)))
So, basement cat is NOT just ebil ? Good to knowze !
People that do such a thing do so on purpose to try to ennoble their sense of superiority. They suffer from a Napoleonic syndrome, but with out a moral compass which leaves them empty. And angry.
You have friends who support you. Rock on girl!
Thank you, mRed!
Zilla
Things are tight all over. I have not been paid for three months so I am not in a position to help you. Once we get this pResident pretender in chief out things will get better. Carduh 2.0 must go.
Thanks, Bunni! I'm feeling better now, but there was a rant that needed to come out in order for that to happen. :)
It's all over here, turned out just fine but I am glad that people helped me to prepare so now I'm ready for when something weather-wise actually DOES happen!
Oh, that was really sweet, thank you! The kitteh looks just like my cat Kylie, who, as Sign Painter Guy has noted, is my "basement cat". She went crazy a while back and never comes upstairs anymore, lives mostly in the basement ceiling, and likes to "go" everyplace that isn't the litter box, but we love her (eve as I dislike having to clean up her grossness) and she's grieving the loss of my sweet little Tippy cat who crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the beginning of this summer, they were cuddle buddies.
Thanks, Azygos, I agree with you about Oblamer. I am sorry that you are struggling too. I hope things get better for you soon! (((hugs)))
Some very nice people helped me out so the crisis, like the storm, has passed.
May we all live to see the end of the leper messiah's terrible reign - and soon!
Radar is showing more rain coming, but you are hopefully thru the worst. It will be coming at you from the west this time, so it will be a bit different. Glad it wasn`t as bad as the hype !
Yeah, it was pretty much a non-event all day, the rain was gentle but steady and nary a breeze, but NOW it has gotten windy! It is nice though, because here in what they affectionately refer to as "Sinus Valley", we don't get a whole lot of wind; the ocean breeze is one of the things I miss most about Long Island. i hope it DOES start raining again because I felt pretty good during the "storm" but once it stopped raining the pain came back. I really should go someplace where it rains all the time. ;)
Well, there`s Seattle, but the libs would drive you nuts or you`d kill one, then ....
Or you could move to Rosman,NC. the wettest spot east of the Big Muddy. It`s a bit...rustic, and has the largest concentration of "the KKK", but hey, it rains a lot ! And it`s just over the ridge (er three) from me !
KKK is democrats, forget that!
I don't know how much rain they get, but if I can ever convince husband to move, we'd go to New Hampshire.
I love it there.
Do they have teh inter-webs in Nuh-ampshuh ? That`s teh granite state, ain`t it ? Yeah, look at the NH state quarter with the "man of (in) the mountain" .....a few years ago it rained so much that the "man`s face" fell off ! Pity ! But it should be wet enough ! ;-)
I remember that, it made me sad. When I was young, single and childless I used to love hopping in my car, driving to NH and just wandering around for weeks on end. I really like it there, and unlike here, they get REAL winter, husband could go back to making extra money by plowing snow. There is a town called North Conway that I simply fell in love with.
We have a place similar, Bryson City,NC. Mostly a tourist town, small, with shops and inns and "The Great Smoky Mountains Railway". Did you see "The Fugitive" with Harrison Ford ? That`s the railway in the movie. Cheoah Dam is the one HF did the Peter Pan off of ; you can see it on the Tail of the Dragon, world famous road for motorcyclists with 118 curves in 11 miles not too far from BC ! Gorgeous country, also near Cherokee. No real winters though !
I still get a laugh when you ask trolls for payment. It's hilarious!
If only they would comply!
There are more who love you than not, Zilla. Screw the batteries. The sun will come up tomorrow.
Your in My prayers Zilla Baby Girl...dont allow the asshats of the world determine the kind of day your going to have. This is my first to your site, but as I do Weasels and IOTW and soem others, I'll do what I can to support YOU and your site!
For the dicktard that likes to jump on folks when their down...stay hidden behind your mothers desktop...out here in the REAL world are men like me whode like nothing better then to kick you in the face a few hundred times...mean people suck...you swallow...good luck with all of it, coward!!!
Thank you so much, Kell. God Bless!
