I'm sorry about what happened with your daughter. It is very sad.
Thank you for the prayers.

"Earf"....I love it ! My Daughter had her own language and learned very early that she could get a laugh. Just before she started Kinnygarden, we read her a book called, "The Busy Bees". She loved it; we wore it out. On the first day of Kinnygarden, the teacher, a childhood friend of mine, divided the class into little learning groups and assigned them names. Her group.......The Busy Bees. She LOVED school ! It was a living fairy tale ! Until middle school, puberty, her Mom changed, and the world took a grip on her, that is ......

You are ahead of the game and aware of dangers that escaped my notice until too late. When I did, she didn`t want to listen. I was just.....in the way !

I pray your children and husband never lose respect for you !

Tell me about it - my kindergartner already goes on tangents about saving the "Earf"! I'm doing what I can to steer that passion towards conservation rather than environMENTALism though. There is a difference, you know. She's already well aware of my feelings about Obama as she sees me yelling at the TV and muttering to my computer. LOL I've shown her Allen West when he's on TV so she could see what a decent man in American politics looks like (she knows I want him for POTUS) and described to her why Ronald Reagan was the greatest President of my lifetime. Luckily our district isn't too bad, it's one of the better ones around here academically & they say the Pledge of Allegiance every day. Her class does lots of patriotic little projects which pleases me. I'm fully prepared though, as she gets older to teach her myself whatever the school falls short on and if I become concerned that they may try to wash her brain, she'll get homeschooled.
I went through public schools in NY in the 70s & 80s but because I had terrific parents and my dad was more than happy to dispel anything slanted the school tried to teach us, I turned out OK. It is hard to indoctrinate kids whose parents are paying attention.

These kid vids are always cute. It would be interesting to see him in a few years to see how he thinks on his own and later, after a few years of gov. school indoctrination. Let`s hope we get a handle on the Dept of Ed. really soon !
